Everyone talks about the network and brand value of being a YC founder. But the mentorship/advice is drastically underrated. That’s two or three times now it’s saved us from going down a path that likely leads to death.

Alternatives start to emerge though. With @Common1nterest for instance we try to give founders a tool to incentivize stakeholders and users beyond the value prop. We are giving founders one more tool to solve growth and build a sustainable company in the long-term.
