It’s not necessarily a red flag, but it’s something to ask about. If they think every company just misunderstood their talent...then *that* is a red flag.

Yes, to me it feels like the same line of biased approach that e.g. makes an assumption that everyone can afford free internship (and which excludes large groups of people). Making those kinds of assumptions is easy, but it’s also damaging to the fabric of our industry.
