I hope so! But I think Chinese has a loooot of different glyphs, doesn't it? I wonder what their everyday keyboards may look like, and if extended versions do exist? For typography purpose for example

I know modern Chinese computer keyboards are not far away from QWERTY – as a matter of fact I’m typing this on a Chinese keyboard right now.

You just sort of “describe” the letters in one of many competing systems – sometimes actually in English – and the software helps you get there faster with suggestions, autocomplete and so on.

I know before those software-augmented keyboards were possible, there were a bit more “straightforward” keyboards, like this one with 12 or 15 shifts.pic.twitter.com/xjLvwrSjgT

But I don’t know if larger Chinese keyboards still exist. I think @tsmullaney is writing a book about them, so we might have to wait to find out. :·)
