Dreamt that @ruffian and I visited Museum of File Formats in Denmark. Who wants to create Museum of File Formats, in Denmark or otherwise?

Challenge: It cannot be for nerds only. Any random family should want to visit Museum of File Formats.

I'm in, I worked at a museum where we made a kid friendly exhibit about image compression

It was verrrry simple: huge posters of a cute kid, gradually pixelated (by scaling down & then back up using Nearest Neighbor in photoshop) until the last one was only 12 huge pixels, no face anymore. Guess how many pixels then lift a wooden flap for answer.

If I could go back I'd hang a copy & some zoomed sections of "Sunday Afternoon on the Island of Le Grande Jatte" by it.

Yeah. My mind is obviously racing towards “make this something interactive/computery,” but then I remember what happenes to interactives at the museums. :·(
