(I felt so happy I ran back to the original store just to say “thank you” to the guy that sent me to the right place.)

It’s also interesting as a distant cousin of Doug Engelbart’s idea of “left hand on the keyset, right hand on the mouse” notion from 1960s.pic.twitter.com/YAI6hKt4GJ

I also saw gaming mice which had mini keyboards on their surfaces.pic.twitter.com/SJ1eDVY4Kw

I have to say that the combination of highlighted WASD and the Japanese kana characters has a certain pro look to it.pic.twitter.com/IutahkOw7v

Interesting: Stickers to put on your keyboard keys to make them more grippy. Is this a gamer’s equivalent of racing driver’s or cyclist’s gloves? Useful or a placebo equivalent of the expensive HDMI cables?pic.twitter.com/3UtFI5l6Dc

This was an interesting iPad keyboard. Usually, keyboards treat every inch of space as precious. This one has non-functional bumpers on the sides; I guess so it doesn’t scratch the screen…?pic.twitter.com/cqqr1qBcSX

Keyboard-related purchases count: 5 A cheap keyboard with a platform for don’t-call-them-Lego Lego bricks? (They even cheat on the box already, by extending the platform with extra flat Legos.)pic.twitter.com/qOlqJAPJdg

Doesn't look like any particular game, but often you can remap keys in games to your liking. These boards are usually used for MMOs iirc.

Yeah, just curious what led them to do it this way rather than just copy/paste bits and pieces of QWERTY. There must be some reason…

I tried the Logitech version of those. I should have returned it with how much I've used it. It had too many buttons under my fingers, and they don't match on-screen button prompts of course, so hard to remember what is what.
Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Those are usually setup to work by default with a specific game's keymaps, but games let you remap controls to whatever you want. The speedpads usually let you remap keys to almost anything too (including mouse and joystick buttons).

Is that’s what this is called? Speedpad?
