I guess I equate the three lines with "light" and 2,3,5 have the word "light". But 1st image is just door that's entrance. Also when do you use 4? When do you need to know its headboard? Maybe the three dashes are similar to our arrows for highlighting or pointing out something

Yes, three lines are light. 1 is light above the entrance door (corridor light), 4 is light above the bed (but ambient, not reading light).
