Ah, same question! Any advice on what to do in Tokyo in February during my first visit?

If you still have a few weeks, try an get tickets for the Ghibli Museum (which is close to Kichijoji) - well worth a visit. Try and get tickets for when they open in the morning (there are time slots) and come 45 minutes early to line up.

Don't overload your schedule. It's a ginormous city. Trains are fast and plentiful, but it's a big place. To navigate, trust Google Maps. In Japan Google Maps has the train schedules synced up, so it's super-easy to get to where you need to be, on time, no fuss.

Fish market: Everybody goes nowadays, but it's still worth a visit, even if you are certainly not the only tourist in there. I've found it fine to show up at a reasonable hour like 7am. Go there at 5am if you want to bid on a tuna. It does slow down a lot after 8am.

Since you are a typographer/designer, give yourself enough time to walk through random back streets just enjoying the urban design and signs everywhere. As
@burritojustice said, it's great to just walk around a neighborhood. Lots to see everywhere.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
