Slowly trying to work my way through all the stuff I've copied or scanned in the past, and whatever else I have that seems like it might be of somewhat general interest

That’s awesome. I’m trying to see whether I can keep up a streak of uploading something new every day (either my own new scans, or things I found along the way). 13 days so far!

Yeah! I’m not going to kill myself over it, but it’s a fun challenge. Also, there are so many things I discovered that could be useful one day. Plus, there are nice moments like this one:https://tedium.co/2017/12/18/let-erma-do-it-internet-archive/ …

Yeah, not worth burning out over, but scanning is a good way to feel productive without having to be creative

I was fortunate to have a lot of free time for scanning last week

The Microwriter! It seemed like such an amazing concept at the time, and looks so huge now

Although I can't have been reading about it in 1978, so I wonder when I encountered it

It’s sort of been around in different forms and shapes for decades, scraping by (AgendA, Quinkey, CyKey).

Looks like it had a revival around 1984 as laptops started to appear, which is probably when I would have read about it https://archive.org/stream/ComputersElectronics1984-04#page/n43/mode/2up …
