Highlights: There are 3 different types of day numbers. -Dates -number of days into the train journey -days of the week (monday=1, tuesday=2, etc) AND there are a bunch of other numbering conventions going on

It's important to understand that none of those numbers matter. Via trains rarely travel even roughly similar to their schedule.
