@sfmta_muni, why didn’t you hire a designer for this project?
This is not just about making the signs “pretty” or “delightful,” even though I don’t think these are optional for a world-class city.
The layout and typography makes these signs hard to process, and the scrolling text (of zero information) distracts from what matters most.
(Not to mention two side-by-side clocks disagreeing makes the signs even more confusing and untrustworthy.)
I would suggest averting your eyes if you ever come to Toronto. Trust me on this.
