Fun fact: Polish has a specific diacritic that goes under ą nad ę. In typography it’s called “ogonek,” which is literally “little tail.”

It’s doubly beautiful because it also hides Polish language’s propensity to use diminutives, e.g. ogon, ogonek, ogoneczek, ogoneczeniek…

I like ogoneks, but I get them confused with the hook diacritic.
