Olivetti DE 523 word processor from ca. 1975. Kind of a generic keyboard, but those red accents and the shape of the whole machine!pic.twitter.com/W8Zx4OEAu9

Can't remember a crazy ergo 80s kb (sorry). Was adjustable split but also EACH KEY could change pitch. Super comfortable but expensive
Horizontal or vertical pitch? Or both? Were the keys regular shapes?
I love split keyboards. My wrists hurt on anything else. Been using some form of Microsoft's Natural Keyboard for over 20 years. #gettingOld
Omg. I need one.
Yeah, that belongs in your collection!
One of the most interesting-looking early typewriters, called Williams. (Also fun to see it in action: https://youtu.be/ulIYu9_0TiI?t=1m44s …)pic.twitter.com/kJgJ0NnXUs

The left-hand keys are sloping the wrong way! Compare wrist positions needed for finger columns of QAZ vs. YHN. Right hand is natural (even on a normal keyboard), left hand requires a major kinked wrist.
This is something you might be interested in looking into for the book; why do almost all typing tutorials teach left hand as QAZ, WSX, EDC when the far more comfortable QAShift, WSZ, EDX columns are available?
