Oooh, a Functional Zenith MiniSport! This is a neat 1989 laptop. It runs an 80C88 at 4.77mhz, 2mb. But it has one very unique feature...pic.twitter.com/lwBQhZ46PT

It is the only computer ever to use 2" floppy disks! They are SO TINY AND CUTE.pic.twitter.com/Uev4gfwE8X
So it if uses 2" floppies and nothing else does, how do you get data off it and onto other systems?
Simple! it comes with a null modem cable and a copy of the FastLynx communications software in ROM.
FastLynx even has a neat feature where you don't need to have it installed on the remote computer. You just type in some bootstrap data...
and it copies itself to the remote machine and launches itself. So bam, you have it on both machines!
In any case, if you want to bid on it, it's at http://www.ebay.com/itm/Zenith-Data-Systems-minisPort-ZL-1-2MB-RAM-2-Floppy-Dos-3-30-Plus-In-ROM-/182760969064 … (but don't, cause I'm gonna try to Best-Offer them down to sanity)
"but foone", you ask, "don't you already have one of these?" No, I don't. I have TWO.
but they're both broken in different ways and I haven't had time to try to merge them into one working machine yet.
Very cool. The imbalanced Ctrl keys are interesting, too.
