IBM 3270 series terminals from the 1970s. They had (probably) mechanical key click, but it was electronically controllable. 1/

IBM 3201 terminals also had this. A loud relay (I think) inside the (cast metal) keyboard. Also Dec VT100 (but maybe not with the toggle).

A great keyboard feature on the VT100: the "break" key has a stronger spring than the others. Makes it impossible to push it by mistake...

.. because you get used to the "normal" force. This should be on all "caps lock" keys.

As far as I see, my MacBook Pro ignores very light (quick) taps on Caps Lock, so a version of that feature persists!
