How much faster are Dvorak and Colemak? Why isn't everyone using Kinesis? Or Stenotype keyboards? Did Sholes design QWERTY for not jamming?

I learned how to use the chording keysets both with ones from SRI and some from Xerox Parc, both adapted to look like joysticks to PC.

I assumed that a competent chorder could go faster than a keyboard but stopped when Engelbart said that the fastest person only got ~30 WPM

Probably the Stenotype design with syllables is more efficient than the SRI design (with ASCII bits?)

Any good suggestions for e.g. stuff for me to look at? I haven’t researched chorded keyboards quite yet.
