I’m writing a book about (typing) keyboards. What keyboards should I definitely mention? What questions would you like answered?

If macro keyboards count, then I'd nominate them. Don't like working without one as a designer.

I'm also curious about keyboards in industrial and point of sale systems (incl. in customized shapes/layouts) to extent that they qualify.

Could also incl. Bloomberg terminal keyboards. X-key type devices maybe too far off, but interesting how some of them use conventional keys.

Also the Art Lebedev Optimus keyboards if there's enough new things to say about them. (I'm not sure offhand.)

Yep! I wrote a draft of that chapter already. Tried to tie it with all the other things that led to the iPhone keyboard.
