If you speak a language other than English, what would you call “touch typing” and “hunt and peck” (two-finger typing)?

in hebrew it's blind typing. never heard an official term for two-finger typing, but it's jokingly referred to as doctor's typing

they seem to do it a lot? it's kind of slang, a joke, not a real term

btw looking through other replies it seems like blind typing is common in eastern europe, which means that's probably where hebrew got it

It's fascinating to me that not touch typing -- i.e., using your eyes -- is called blind typing.

No, I am assuming "blind typing" is used for 10-finger/touch typing?

Yeah, typing without looking at the keyboard - as in, the typing is "blind"
