I'm expecting that's a chapter in Marcin's book, if not an entire section.
There is a planned chapter on numeric keypads. This is a nice example of domestication/commoditization of technology.
Also, how data processing came after and learned from typewriters… and how word processing came after and learned from data processing.
Oh! Do you want to guess which numeric keypad ordering (telephone vs. calculator) is proved to be better according to a study?
