I miss Sketch. I have such a hard time figuring out how to select things in Figma. After a lot of use I'm still at least 2x slower in Figma finding the stuff I need to implement a design.

Not an option for his designer

I don't have a choice

Strong agree that the selection flow is lawful evil tho. It's fairly easy for me to parse the behavior after the fact, but not predict it in advance. This is one thing I'd LOVE to see the team address.

I’d love to chat. How can we make it happen?

A direct selection tool would be awesome (like Group Selection Tool in Illustrator)! I often find people consider frames as an annoying obstacle. Me using frames for stack based designs introduce a hurdle for others in the team. It should be a universal benefit, not a trade-off!

What’d be the difference from ⌘ clicking or ⌘ drawing a rectangle today?

Thanks for getting back! Would be great to select the closest frame amongst ancestors, instead of the deepest element. To select the button frame, instead of the button's background rectangle.
