While we're on this topic... @figmadesign any updates on the roadmap to support variable fonts?
They're an essential part to make future web typography better. Figma should be leading the way here.

Hi Marcin, I think the use cases are immense. Recently I was involved in a major rebranding and design system project wherein. The major limitation of using VF is the support for it on

replace them with VF. This is not feasible since there is a huge licensing cost involved. If we buy static fonts for now for and org and later shift to VF it will cost double. Hence we had to drop the possibility of using VF even though we know how much savings we can do in terms

@figmadesign is the bottleneck. Because demand is already there, supply is also in place & the rendering medium (browsers) also supports it except for the tool (Figma).1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes
