Day 194: Secret Jr! Inside Pac-Man 2: The New Adventures is an all-new game, called Pac-Jr, which we unlocked & played today on the @Sega Genesis! This is a rare non-Midway appearance for Jr. Pac-Man in this console era, even with a slight name change. 3 games played, HS: 5,290.pic.twitter.com/R1mLnPYlTS

It looks more like Ms. Pac-Man & plays a bit slow, but I still don't know why the name change was made. But here it is--a hidden game found by gathering all the cartridges or entering the PCJRDPW. More a footnote than a full-fledged game, but still worth showing off in our canon.pic.twitter.com/33oPrzJ4fh

1 final thing--there's on odd little "eddy" in the bottom right of the maze, with a group of 6 dots clustered together rather than in a straight line. Bizarre. I don't recall ever seeing this asymmetrical grouping in a Pac-Man game before. Anyone else?

Replying to @mwichary
Right?! This is the first time I've seen something like that, especially on an official release. (Albeit, a somewhat hidden one.)

By my count it’s 172 dots. Is it possible that they had to keep that number consistent with other boards for coding simplicity?
