Have you seen any decent examples of using Figma for print? I'm working on an A5 paper zine series at the moment, and would love to use it as it gets like 95% of things right compared to how heavy InDesign is.

I’ve printed stuff from it! Some of the challenges I discovered are no CMYK/colour management (didn’t feel very important for my casual projects), plus our images are limited to 4000px across (I think), which makes really intense hi-dpi print images hard.

You also have to remember that 72 Figma units (or, pixels) is an inch.

Also, of course, flowing text automatically in between frames, hyphenation, and stuff like that are not there yet.

I am not sure if I’m helping answer your question at this point. :·)

Yeah very useful! Probably have to think very manually about spreads and imposition I suppose, too.

I use export to PDF to do printing stuff, and it seems to work ok!

That’s true — I could do the assembling of spreads for printing in Acrobat or something post-export
