Day 163: 1 hr 52 mins, 6113 words. Wrote lots, cut lots. Try to hard to thread this needle about the affective politics of homebrew (and why that meant it could never make good on its "computers to the people" goals) which mostly mentally feels likepic.twitter.com/uh7xuQZoTM

Day 164: 2 hrs 13 mins, 6246. Gutted 500 words, wrote 600 fresh. Section on homebrew DONE. Had a spontaneously stellar moment of calling out the memorialization of homebrew as a historical practice of creating acceptable forms of white "ancestory" for tech brospic.twitter.com/0GjYgUvQbe

Day 165: 1 hr 57 mins, 6959 words. Revised the Homebrew section, began sketching out close up of Wozniak, Jobs, the founding as Apple. All contextualized by the ideological distance btw young guys like Woz and Jobs, and the older gen of the counterculture that founded Homebrew

Day 166 (yesterday): took the day off to reset my brain. this past week has been some hard work! rode my motorcycle, met up with my pod for backyard brunch, did some socially distant brooklyn stoop hangs, made it home for Drag Race viewing w/ my West Coast crew

Day 167: (yesterday) if saturday was a day of socializing, sunday was a day for myself. baths, workouts, leisure reading, television. Day 168: thought i'd have a chance to get cracking, but underestimated how much work doing rapid office retrieval would be today

Day 170: 1 hr 24 mins, 7586 words. fiddling, fiddling. most of this is over-written garbage, or personal gripes i need to get out of my system. gonna stick to reading more of iWoz today, to help to me layout the events worth documentingpic.twitter.com/VWgO37ssnJ

Day 172 (yesterday). Back was bothering me, decided to spend the day reading Steve wozniak's autobiography and watching POSE...which might be two representations of the 1980s that truly have no overlap.

Day 173: back is worse than I thought. Hauling books back on Monday fucked me up bad. Laid up on a heating pad, getting an emergency visit to my chiropractor in a couple hours, probably won't be able to use my computer for a couple days.pic.twitter.com/QnpADHduZC

Thanks mate. I get this kind of chronic pain from time to time--I know how to work with it it's just very frustrating to spend days unable to do anything besides really stare at tv (even using a game controller can hurt too much)
