The text-based links should work in the Prototype tab and in the prototype (playback) view. Can you tell me more?

You have to click Duplicate the demo file to work, in case that’s not clear. (It might not be clear.) It doesn’t work on the Community page itself…

Yeah, internal links in the prototype tab will send you back to editor right now (it’s a bit of a harder problem). But external ones should work!
