Hard to tell Steve Jobs drastically reduced product portfolio when he became iCEO at Apple in '96 -Fresh from NeXT- This is a crazy portfolio - iSocks no less! MacMini, the wonderfull iMac on a stick of which I witnessed the product launch at an Apple event in Amsterdam.
That was a crazy event, everybody (the Apple press from Netherlands) was speculating on the new incarnation of the iMac. In hindsight, on my way to the venue I passed a newsstand where a Time Magazine insert of several pages layed out everything on the new iMac.
