I see, if you select "34 knot winds" which are projected as strong enough to "break twigs off a tree" on the Beaufort scale, the NOAA briefly included Alabama last week.pic.twitter.com/E03s1WS3cW
However, none of the projections track the "cone" as reaching Alabama at any point, which is how the NOAA actually defines the potential path of the hurricane itself, and not the outlying areas that would not likely suffer much, if any, damage.
Oh wow, so the insane thing is that the map he edited with a Sharpie was specifically the map of the CONE, not the larger wind tracking map he posted up top. The sharpie edited map is ABSOLUTELY WRONG, at no point at all did the NOAA predict the cone to reach Alabama.pic.twitter.com/Es1slkkSfR
