The classic beige IBM Model F/M keyboards came with lesser-known industrial variants with darker cases that could better deal with dirt and grime, and it’s a great example how sometimes just one small unexpected design change can result in a much more attractive product.pic.twitter.com/PkqPcmnDqK

Diehl Alphatronic from 1970s – a rare computer from a German arms maker, and a rare green keyboard with very weird (but pretty) keys. A classic telephone keypad with a few extra keys for Autovon, an American military telephone system. I love all of those letterforms. The new keys? “After a nuclear attack,” you could press P to get a priority phone call even if the lines were busy. https://www.cryptomuseum.com/phone/autovon/index.htm …pic.twitter.com/oxcJlrW20M

After he passed away, we were clearing out the office of one of the partners at work. I found a brochure of a Sharp(?) calculator / adding machine (+-*/) from about 1970, with a green LED-type screen. If I'm correct, the brochure price was £2,495, about $6,200 in 1970 money.
