Choose one: How did the standard symbols on typewriters change over the years (if they did at all)? Were there any specific pieces of work that were especially difficult to print and distribute? Did printing practices change in any interesting way during either world war?

c) There were shortages in both wars because of the heavy use of metal and paper in printing (but also resources commandeered for military/patriotic printing).
