Oops, I got the Toshiba model wrong. I guess they’re all similar within a family. I almost said Contura 3/25, too.
What are those pencil markings on that Toshiba, to the right of the screen?
This is probably easy, but its hooked up to a computer so old it has the university name etched on the side. Sadly the keyboard from the PDP/11 that sits beside them appears to have been lost to the ages.pic.twitter.com/GLLnZTXV1h
Ah, this is better. This feels easy and b oring, but it’s a better kind of a mystery; there were tons of IBM Model M clones, and they all look the same.
I know this is the same keyboard that @LivingComputers has attached to their PC/AT, so if they can just flip it over and read what’s on the back, that would be an answer to the mystery. :·)pic.twitter.com/AHTpQURUG2
I went through their catalog, but without much luck. It might be this, but it doesn’t help. https://opac.libraryworld.com/opac/catalog_edit.php?catalog_id=681300&from_doc=advanced.php&position=2026 … Here’s another photo.pic.twitter.com/xnFdfGVurt
There is the whole system. It was obviously custom built as it has the universities logo worked into the side of the case.pic.twitter.com/3QG9A9LRae
Ah, thank you! Mystery solved, it’s this: https://deskthority.net/wiki/Fujitsu_FKB4700 …
