I’m a designer at Figma. Tell me how/why you use CIELAB?

Hi Marcin! I would use it to make :hover/:active CTA transitions less dull, and overall a godsend when trying to do color variations/shading in illustrations. (alternative: use blending modes, but it's more of a trial and error process)

Can you tell me what makes it better for those than RGB or HSL?

Lch is a hybrid space of lab and hsb. It's very useful for palette creation. I recommend considering support lch rather than lab. Thx
