In a rut (cartwheel ruts) Tinder (fire) Scroll (parchment) Though these are more figurative metaphors than the conceptual metaphors we map to UXes

Yeah, “to scroll” feels like it applies, but tinder still exist, right? What’s a cartwheel rut?

The expression “in a rut” comes from when cartwheels would wear ruts into unpaved roads iirc... making it hard to steer. Not sure. Though I guess that doesn’t apply since it’s not used as tech ux thing. I guess we do still use tinder so that’s out too. Okay scroll’s all I got
