While I have found ads or single sheets that are titled "The typewriter! A Machine to Supersede the Pen", I have never found any full catalogue or other multi-page document (which seems to be suggested here). Marcin, have you ever found such a document?

Is it a mangled reference to George Carl Mares's "History of the Typewriter, Successor to the Pen?"

No, I don't think so, since the exact phrase "A machine to Supersede the Pen" appeared in ad copy long before that, as early as 1875 at least:https://books.google.com/books?id=XBviAAAAMAAJ&dq=%22A%20machine%20to%20supersede%20the%20pen%22&pg=PA89#v=onepage&q=%22A%20machine%20to%20supersede%20the%20pen%22&f=false …

Maybe, then, a reference to this page https://books.google.com/books?id=Smzj46xjgBgC&lpg=PA237&ots=43LLUCStpO&dq=%22ministers%20lawyers%20authors%22&pg=PA237#v=onepage&q&f=false …, which contains the "minsters, lawyers, authors" text and the specified sewing machine, rifle, and plow illustrations?pic.twitter.com/navm4dg5r1

I found: "As early as 1877, the Sholes and Glidden was marketed in one of its first trade catalogs as “THE TYPE-WRITER! A Machine to Supersede the Pen" by a contemporary historian. Will reach out.

Oh, yeah, just sort of unclear to me whether this is all of it.
