This is really interesting because while this rule of "heavy" and "light" symbols being separated still generally applies to a German QWERTZ layout there are a few exceptions, which I'm guessing is due to a few things being shuffled around when the AltGr keyy was introduced?

This thing ' shares a key with # for example while " is shift-2. Forward slash is shift-7 while backwards slash is AltGr-ß and question mark is shift-ß.
