    Covering Saturday’s protest for an upcoming report and came across sign featuring my name. Another said “Marianna Spring is 25”. Slogans mentioned freedom and vax passports - others promoted online conspiracies about sinister pandemic plots, antivax, QAnon and hanging traitors.

    Hands up, guilty. I got tired of being accused of killing people and reading demands for my arrest and execution from a shadowy anonymous "foundation". So yes I did block whoever this person is. We try to be as open as possible but that doesn't mean we have to put up with this

    I’ve spent a career talking to neo-nazis, proud boys, islamists, terrorists, other assorted radicals of many stripes but these groups are among the most angry. I just hope they don’t turn IRL violent.

    This is a taste of daily threats I experience - calls for my execution, my hanging and discussion of ‘Nuremberg Trials’. A lot are more direct and sinister. My editor is also targeted. All for reporting on impact of online conspiracies.

    FoundationAnon not only calls me and my reporters "biased" and "propoganda", but literally wants us put on trial and executed. Then asks to have a "debate".

    The end of the pandemic won't see everyone move away from New World Order and Great Reset Agenda conspiracy theories, they'll just be louder with claims about how climate change is fake and made up to control people, and any mitigations put in place are somehow tracking them.

    Somebody has set up a site (let's call it DumbVAERS) for people to report shedding injuries. All reports go live immediately. By all means, R/T the snot out of this and you should definitely report your "shedding injury"... you know, for research!

    Some people got really upset about my tweets talking blandly about the roots of the movement that's marching on Saturday. This kind of stuff is just plain unacceptable. (sadly, inevitably someone will reply to this by saying "yes that is terrible BUT yOu LiAr bLah BlAh...")
