Happy Fathers Day to all the dads out there. NSW has 2,887 cases and 6 deaths. The Reff is down from 0.86 to 0.85. There are 1,689 people in hospital (down 2) and 40 in ICU (up 1).

Queensland didn't even bother to report cases today. They just don't care anymore. And the state has the lowest 3rd dose booster rate in the country.

This is one of the best prediction/advice combos I’ve seen ⬇️
Use all the tools, make good decisions & minimise damage to your health - it’s the long game - there will be multitudes who’ll wish they’d done the same

My prediction on #COVID19 having been a doctor for almost 20 yrs & been deeply involved in the pandemic:
It will end, eventually, through slow adoption of NPIs + mucosal vax. BUT, if you have bad #longcovid by then we prob WON'T HAVE CURE in your lifetime. So avoid until then

When they call us thugs, they are calling hard working Australians thugs - the people who care for you in hospitals, who care and educate children, tradies and supermarket workers. We deserve better than these insults

What’s the big deal with Australian workers having access to a decent right to strike?
needs to understand that strikes are a last resort. I was a full time union official for 27 years and the bulk of my work was negotiating, not managing strikes!

Why does no one ask where the money for Labor’s $10 billion social housing fund is coming from?
If you don’t have enough money to build social housing, how do you have a spare $10 billion to put in this fund?

In Kirrawee, at one of my favourite small businesses today, a fellow brewer recognised me. He thought the government was doing a really good job, and he also raised a few issues important to him. I was honoured, I was inspired and I'm listening

Take it from me: the Governor General’s role in getting $18m from Morrison for a charity without a record, office or program and no competitive bid is set to be the most controversial vice regal indulgence since Kerr’s dismissal of Whitlam.

Saw a clip of Peter Dutton on #TheProjectTV again criticising the #JobsSummit because it was full of 'Union Thugs'.
Spud is a hypocrite because he has previously been quoted as being 'a proud member' of the Qld Police Union for the duration of his career as a police officer.

How many lives will be lost by the replacement of effective public health measures with "respecting each other"?

Immigration is about nation building.
Central to this is the manner in which people are welcomed after they've made the decision to call Australia home.
My focus is about listening to and working with the millions of Australians who are our immigrant story.

If you believe now on the Labor govt has delayed 100 days making an overdue decision on migration. Duh! Why didn’t your government make the call 150 days ago. Simply incredible.

A glaring conflict of interest that for some reason and the Murdoch media just will not touch.
The secret $18 million promised to the Governor General's pet project and the secret signing in of Scott Morrison to his ministries at the same time.
