Our 6 yo told his friend that he will be running for President in 2052 (he worked out the math). His platform is everyone gets all the food they need and ending racism. He was thrilled to find this letter waiting for him at home in response to a letter he sent in June.

This is the first morning I would have been at school. Instead I started my morning by watching a fox eat a rabbit in my backyard, listened to the Artemis commentary (eventually scrubbed for today), and mapped out my coursework for the week. Feeling good about my life decisions!

One of our neighborhood foxes just strolled through our backyard and then scratched itself in the neighbors’ yard. I never saw a fox in the wild until I lived here. Love them.

I don't get Amazon's strategy. Just got an email asking if I'd like to buy other versions of the things I just bought this summer from them. Like, maybe that transit pass holder isn't working out -- want a different one? Did the ice packs we just sent you break -- want another?
The other day, I was able to walk four miles at one go for the first time since I hurt my knee! It was 91 degrees and felt like 101 with the humidity, but I was so happy!
