    Good news for members that use RSS to keep-up with releases: the personal feed should now display all artists that are involved in a release. (previously MusicButler would display one of the artists which the member may have not been following)

    The new “My Artists” page: - Infinite scrolling - At least 2× faster - Better optimized for mobile - Makes unfollowing artists much easier (no offense, artists) 🚀

    Sort by latest releases, or most recently followed artists. Full-text search.

    MusicButler turned 3 a few days ago. I’ve some features coming up for the next year, hopefully we’ll find a sustainable business model as well. Thanks to all the members for their support and kind words! 🥂

    And just like that, MusicButler turns two. As resources and time are scarce I’m not sure it’ll make it to 3, but it has been a great ride!

    A quick plug for which sends you an email whenever a favorite band of yours has a new record coming out. Now we need this for filmmakers and video game designers too. Book Feed is the version for authors.

    ⚠️ MusicButler will start rate-limiting (temporarily banning) abusive RSS feed aggregators. I’m aware that some of the members are probably using the same RSS services, so the ban will be by user, not just by service. Don’t share your RSS feed URL in the wild.

    🟡 Pretty sure I have identified the root cause for the recent downtime. I have made some adjustments that will hopefully resolve the issues in the meantime. Site should gradually become more responsive.
