The idea is that Bolton looks less radical than Tillerson. comparison makes him more palatable. Not saying he's a true comp.

i don't think so. this is senate and cabinet. not electors.

some signs that he can't make it through confirmation. typically candidate would be withdrawn. still... Trumps not typical.

u need to understand trump is fundamentally a licencer. He's shopping who's the best deal 4 him, not this country
