    The only good thing Trump did was end the White House Correspondence Dinner. I remember watching a bunch of America's prestige press yuck it up instead of dying of shame while George W Bush joked about how he mislead them on WMDs. American journalism is so broken.

    There is a lot of Rosenstein feeling sorry for himself in this speech. Kind of a sad way for him to end his DOJ career.

    Completely. And by the way, Rosenstein knows that. And by the way, it would be extraordinary to just blithely overturn a prosecutor’s (let alone Mueller’s) effective finding of corrupt intent for several acts .

    To be clear, typical process would be for AG to read the report, then meet with the prosecutors and discuss. Maybe ask the DAG to write a memo with his opinion, then consider it all and decide. None of that happens in 48 hours unless you’ve prejudged the outcome.
