4) Test your copy in the UI with representative users of it!

If your job includes writing interface copy you need to do 3 things: 1) Interview people who represent your target audience and listen closely 2) Read a lot of poetry, and read it aloud, to expose the potential of language 3) Deeply understand the workings of the system
