is totally glitching out for me on mac, even in safe mode. Black windows, blank dropdowns, happening for anyone else? Chrome is fine, back to that I guess

I can't do that, just reinstalled and it launches a completely black screen :/ think it might be my machine - I am noticing some smaller glitches elsewhere but nothing like this

restarted my machine and it's working for now - Compositing: Basic

What hardware/macOS version. Can you post the graphics section of about:support someplace. If you're getting "Compositing: Basic" on Mac something has definitely gone wrong.

I did turn off hardware acceleration to see if it would help. Macbook Pro 13 2015. About:support is here:
