This is tough! My channel just started growing. We have some big name interviews. 11,000 hours this year and 774 subs! So does it kick in again once we hit 1k subs? 117k views total.
Yeah, looks like. And then you just to worry about maintaining a minimum 4000 watch hours a year.

I dont think were worried about the time. YouTube wants people to see their adds $$$$. Subcribers are poor measurement. Creators should go to other sponsors if their viewership is high. I just got my first Google payment.
