Murphy’s worst-case isn’t outlandish— it’s exactly what I wrote yesterday about western peace activists smiling with Assad - risk getting used by oppressive regimes. Why not let S Korea keep doing what they’re doing, they have been able to attain diplomacy without US involvement.
