If tweets are an *attack*, then US journalists, diplomats, businessmen, academics, etc. are engaged in hostile action all across the world. And that’s before you get to the actually subversive stuff. Framing it in this way is very dangerous, and speaks to American exceptionalism.

They are in the grip of a deadly groupthink; a kind of dream state where they believe they are completely safe & invulnerable behind their walls of certitude, where reality is a mist of words created solely by them and their friends and therefore will never be able to hurt them.

This is what happens when a country is involved in wars for decades but the average person in that country pays no price and isn't impacted in the least by them. War becomes something that only hurts 'other' people.

The purpose of this indictment is to get Hillary & Trump supporters on board with the narrative, "Russia is attacking" so that they are sell the military intervention later on. Vindicate Hillary & Trump in a single move while selling out Jill & Bernie and preserving Russiagate.

Okay! There’s a civil war going on, and between the warmongers and their opponents, insane members of the public are turning the aggressors’ agitation into their own private killing sprees, and government rushes to protect the warmongers’ rights to agitate. Better?

The inverse relationship between the Russiagate frenzy level and the ability of its followers to stop and think critically about it for a minute is the primary reason why its drivers panic whenever the Russiagate narrative falls apart and send out the big guns to rile it up again
