Criticising is usually about shoring them up, improving them. Undermining them is something else entirely.

They’re no need for journalists to feel a duty to prop up the state or it’s institutions. That’s the stuff of moral panics.

The Perpetuation of Our Political Institutions was an early Lincoln speech of great rhetorical power. He was 28 years old, delivered in Springfield, IL. A lynching in St Louis a few weeks prior served as the trigger event. His context is far different. http://www.abrahamlincolnonline.org/lincoln/speeches/lyceum.htm …

id say it goes back way further than trump/Russia. "Journalists" have been staying Inside the spectrum of accepted Washington debate since Reagan. 17 years later and we still have no answer as to why our presidents business associates funded a terror attack that killed 3000

The United States was "developed" and our government was far more trusted before the cia and fbi existed. Just remember your advocating for the organizations that black mailed mlk and probably killed jfk

It's already demonstrated how bad a Trump presidency has been so far in his short term in office, and obviously a public that voted with enough fervency to elect the worst POTUS in US history is a public that needs to be educated, no??
