Ive heard the right use this too. I’ve heard people being able to keep their (less than great) healthcare say it matters. Moderately better is still better than worse. It’s not an excuse for the status quo. Flattening the differences imho where the Left goes wrong. Case by case.

Is this person going to vote for war or vote for defense spending? The Left has better policy, more cohesive world view than neoliberalism. Idk the left could add to the reality of the liberal, not deny it. “Yes, and” > “no, but.” I guess that’s meeting people at their experience
