Did we ever leave Germany? Japan? South Korea?
Why should they withdraw? Did US withdraw from Korea, Japan or even from Germany?
We’re at the plausible deniability stage of *telling us something we want to hear.* *say something doesn’t exist (i.e occupation, increasing troops) until you absolutely can’t deny it, and even then lie about it, or tell them something they want to hear*
can't we just admit Iraq as the 51 states ?
As the build up for Syria has begun... (again)https://twitter.com/ReutersWorld/status/960680006094553088 …
Weren't all U.S. troops supposed to have left Iraq in Dec. 2011?
17th Annual Drawdown.
the last sentence, did we ever completely withdraw in 2011? I thought we had bases & several thousand there indefinitely. the segmenting of the IS frontier (2014) makes it misleadingly short. “limited, but footprint grew,” “roll back” meaning decimate.
Splitting hairs that distracts from the big picture. If we wanted them to be stable, we wouldn’t be there. They were stable. We didn’t like their leader. The point is to cripple. We would have to spend as much + more than we spent destroying Iraq to re-build it, to stabilize.
