Maybe this is a dumb question, but: if The Memo contains misleading information and paints a false narrative (certainly possible) wouldn’t the proper course be to ... release the memo, so it can be publicly evaluated, and its misleading/false nature can be demonstrated?

Is it really information though? Or just propaganda? I don't think it's so simple as, hey, just release it so people can evaluate it. That's what they want everyone to think. That seems naive to me.
