Which also raises the question: is it really wise to use presidential rhetoric as the barometer for determining whether "liberal ordering" has been accepted or rejected? At the policy level, lots of continuity under Trump in that regard.
Worthwhile thread, but I'm interested in the basis for this claim: "Trump really is the first post-war POTUS to reject the premise that *some* kind of liberal ordering is good." Because I could cite multiple quotes in which Trump says things which contravene the claim.
