She used to be pretty sensible, but Russiagate seems to have robbed her of reason. Here you have to pretty dumb or at least seriously lack in basic reading comprehension skills not to see that, in her email, Doss is specifically talking about how the phrase "Russian persons"

should be understood, not the whole passage in the SSCI's letter in which this phrase is found. This is just a fact about what the words she uses in that email mean, it's not something reasonable people who understand English can disagree about.
